Power to Arrest Training for Security Officers
At Skyline Vision Security, all security personnel receive professional training regarding the legal authority, limitations, responsibilities, and procedures associated with the Power to Arrest. Understanding lawful detention procedures and legal boundaries is essential to maintaining public safety, protecting client property, reducing liability, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws.
Security officers are trained to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and restraint when responding to criminal activity, suspicious behavior, trespassing, theft, disturbances, or other incidents requiring intervention. Our training emphasizes observation, reporting, de-escalation, and lawful procedures while prioritizing the safety of all individuals involved.
Power to Arrest training helps security personnel understand when detention may be lawful, how to safely conduct a detention, when to involve law enforcement, and how to avoid unlawful actions that may expose clients or officers to legal liability.
